  • The Oakboro Cruise-In has been recognized as the Largest Downtown Cruise-In in North Carolina. www.oakborocruisein.com This event takes place every 4th Friday of every month in Downtown Oakboro, North Carolina. During the months of April - October a burnout occurs after the Cruise in at 9:00 behind the town. This event is put on by the Oakboro Business Association and is free for everyone. The last cruise in brought over 8,000 people and over 400 cars to town.
